- WOMAN GETS A YEAR AND «o PINED £250. TRADE INCREASING AT ALARMING RATE. Australian Press Association. Received Friday, 11.25 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 18. At the Central Police Court to-day, May Smith, 48, was fined £250, with 12 months’ imprisonment for being in possession of cocaine. 4 The polico stated that Smith was a notorious distributor of this drug and tho traffic in drugs was increasing throughout Sydney at an alarming rate.
