WANTED! RURAL BUS TIME TABLE
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE REQUEST. Mr. J. 11. Stevens wrote to tho Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce yesterday urging that the Palmerston North Borough Council as licensing authority be asked to publish a complete rural bus time-table. The president) Mr. M. A. Eliott) stated that the Rural bus proprietors did not think the scheme practicable as changes in the times of arrival and departure were altered so frequently. Only recently a time-table had been issued and within a week it was obsolete. Mr. Stevens thought that continuous alterations in the times of arrival and departure would not be in the best in, tercsts of the bu 3 proprietors. The cost of printing a card timet-ablo would not be heavy. The proposal was referred to the traffic department of tho Borough Council
