United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SHANGHAI, Jan. 14. China was linked up with the western world to-day by radio with the inauguration of the Chinese Government’s radio service. The service is capable of communicating with the greater part of the world. Twentytwo important citios throughout tho country have been linked up with the central station at Shanghai. Inauguration messages were successfully exchanged between Shanghai and New York.
