Still Sultry A rather intense depression of the westerly type extends from Tasmania to the South Island of New Zealand The pressure is low also in the northern Tasman Sea. Expect moderate to strong northerly winds, reaching gale force at times in and south of Cook Strait, backing to west and later to southwest. In New Zealand waters tke seas are becoming rather rough on the West Coast and off shore south of Castlepoint. Strong northerly winds will prevail in the eastern Tasman, backing shortly to west and later to south-west with rough seas. The weather will be cloudy, humid and sultry, with general rain developing. Thunder is probable in places, with cooler temperatures after about 24- hours. (Standard Time) Sun (to-day). Rises, 4.37 a.m.; sets, 7.40 p.m. To-morrow. Rises, 4.38 a.m.; sets, 7.40 p.m. Moon (to-day). Rises, 5.21 a.m.; sets, 10.16 p.m. To-morrow. Rises, 9.26 a.m.; sets, 10.3 S p.m.
