; AUCKLAND; Last Night. After the final payments, the followinrr horses are left in tlic Wynyar Plate of £6OO, .seven furlongs, to bo decided at the Takapuna meeting:—The Begum, Onewliero, Standfast, Mussie, Qulnsilia, Palmares, Arihana, Justify, Arikitoa, Air King, Bahama, Bold Archer, Gold Money, Subdivision, Lido, Appellant, Micrometer, Leitrim.

Owners and trainers are reminded that Ashhurst meeting acceptances must be in the hands of the secretaiy on Monday night at 9 o’clock.

The acceptances for Foxton have brought down the fields numerically, but fortunately at the right end. The majority of the absentees will.not have any tears shed on their account. A pleasing feature of the list is that the strength of the Cup field has been little impaired, though the defection of Catkin is unfortunate.

Night March, the Derby and Marion Cup winner, Toxcuma, which went a good race in the G.N. Derby and Teri, a winner at Tauherenikau, are the three best horses m the cup. Lady Limond and Discourse will be at home, but the chances of the latter are preferred. The top-weight will be, k hot favourite ad it is difficult to imagine that tho -public will be in error.

Miss Pat, Epistle, Helotis, _ Oallanmore and Millais are five remaining in the Anniversary Handicap and a good race should come from tljese, and the favourite is well disguised.

The Hurdles field has been considerably depleted, now there are eight. Ataroria has 31bs more than he carried into second place on tho second day at Marion and Panorama is up one pound on his impost in the first Hack Hurdles at Marion, . Hymestrason has been consistent without having won and ho should be able to give the other two a good go for it.

White Ringlet supporters will say '•Don’t Argue!” when it comes to investing on the Himatangi hack, but on Second : Thought, they might be inclined to follow First Ruler.

Mr C. M. Emanual intends sending his two-year-old filly Pure Tea (Tea Tiay—Duchess Eudorus) to Sydnoy to be trained at Randwiek by G. Price, and she will bo shipped away by the Ulimaroa on January 25. Pure Tea has not raced yet, but she has shown pace on the tracks and. ran a couple of smart half-miles on the outsido of the course proper at Ellerslie before the recent meeting.

It is unlikely that Partial Eclipse will race again for some time, as she was badly galloped on while racing at Btratford, and .will require a long spell.

Papatu has had chances enough, and he is to be given, another in tho Wellington Cup, in which he will have the services of H. Wiggins.

It is bad luck for Fred Tilley and Mr and Mrs Blackmoro that Mandano should have broken down in the Manawatu Cup race when she was in such splendid fettle. .It is. unlikely that she will race again.

Lomint has been retired to the stud. The Catmint mare went amiss on the eve of the Auckland summer meeting, and it has been decided not to perservorc with her.
