FEILDING STOCK SALE
KEEN COMPETITION FOR LAMBS. Prices at tho Feilding stock sale yesterday for both cattle and sheep were on a par with recent sales. A fairly small yarding came forward, but the first sale of store lambs met with keen competition. Following were tho p rices:— Sheep: B.f. lambs, 16s 6d, 17s, ISs, 19s lOd, 20s, 22s lOd, 235; fat b.f. lambs, 29s 3d, 30s; fat ewes, 22s Id, 265. Cattle: Jersey heifers, £3, £5 10s, £S 15s; springing cow, £6 15s; springing heifer, £8 2s 6d; heifer in milk, £6 10s; bulls, £2 2s Od, £2 ss, £8 10s; forward cows, £G 6s 6d; cow and calf, £9 15s; yearling P.A. steers, £7 2s; vealers, £2 19s; fat cows, £7 15s, £S ss, £9 3s, £9 2s 6d, £l2 12s 6d; fat heifers, £l2 10s; fat bullock, £l3.
