POLES DENOUNCE PEACE PROPOSAL

The Polish press denounces the Soviet pact proposal as a hypocritical intriguo, merely intended to support the Soviet universal disarmament project launched at Geneva. It is believed the unanimous hostility of the press will be a death-blow to Lithuania’s reported acceptance. The Polish view is that the Soviet is actuated by fear of warfare on the western borders.
