Brief Fine Spell A weak ahti-cyclone is passing northwards of New Zealand, while a moderate depression is advancing across the Tasman Sea. Light to moderate west, to south winds, veering shortly to northerlics and freshening will prevail but with a southerly cnange again, reaching southern districts within 24 hours. The seas generally will be smooth to moderate; moderate to fresh northerly and later- backing to southwesterly winds and smooth to moderate seas in tbo eastern Tasman. The weather will be fair to fine generally at first, with warm temperatures but soon becoming unsettled and rain gradually developing. (Standard Time) Sun (to-day).
