PORT MORESBY UNSAFE FOR LARGE VESSELS
LESSON OF MORINDA. Telegraph—Copyright. United Press Association—By EloctrU : PORT MORESBY, Jan. 4. The steamer Morinda has left for Sydney, carrying mails. A survey made by a diver and engineers showed that the vessel was now seaworthy. The Board of Inquiry found the port to be unsafe for a vessel of the tonnage of the Morinda.
