SPORTS AT ONEPUHI
GATHERING NEXT WEDNESDAY. Next Wednesday, January 0, is the date chosen for the second annual sports gathering of the Onepuhi sports club to be held on Mr. Gotty’s. property ,on the banks of the Rangitikci river, at Onepuhi. Athletic, horse and novelty events make up the programme and besides the valuable cash prizes offered, trophies will be up for competition. The officials of this club lay themselves out to give their patrous a good time, and the gathering should bo well worth a visit. Refreshments will be available on the ground, and hot water is to bo provided free for the benefit of picnic parties. To round off tho day, a dance is arranged for the the evening. The secretaries, Messrs T. F. Iwikau and M. W. Tetomo, of Tokorangi, will bo pleased to supply copies of the programme on application.
