CRICKET
The annual game between Ex-pupils of the Boy’s Hivh School and the Rest will bp played at the sportsground today at 2 p.m. Tho teams will be selected from the following players at the grounds:— Ex-pupils:—Gallichan, Norris, Mullins, Kells; Hollier and Lcefc (Palmerston North), Perrin, McNeill and Young (R.S.A.), Jamieson, Grant, Tilliek, Pacey, O’Keefe, Cameron, Spring , and Fletcher. The Rest:—Miller, Ongley, MeVicar, Pegdcn and Ingham (Palmerston North), Ross, Mansford, Tarrant, Duffield, Smith, Day and UpLam (R.S.A.), Dicdrich and Grainger. _ Hawke Cup Match Postponed. The Hawke Cup match with Wairarapa will not now be played on the 9th and 10th, these dates being unsuitable to Wairarapa. Dates later in the month have been suggested to the Wairarapa Union whose decision is awaited.
