Warn Week-End An anti-cyclone located over the Tasman Sea is weakening and a depression now moving off eastern Australia is likely to affect New Zealand during the weekend. Expect moderate to fresh south-west to southerly winds, decreasing and veering to northerly after about 16 hours and freshening in the south seas (New Zealand waters) The se.as generally will be smooth to moderate in the Tasman Sea, moderate south-west, veering to northerly winds, in the northern portion of the eastern Tasman Sea, with moderato seas and freshening west to northerly winds in the southern portion, with moderate but rising seas. The weather will be mainly fair to fine but soon becoming cloudy in Westland and Otago, with rain developing and later unsettled conditions extending to other districts. Cool temperatures, but warm again tomorrow. (Standard Time) Sun (to-day). Rises, 4.25 a.m.; sets, 7.45 p.m. To-morrow. Rises, 4.26 a.m.; sets, 7.45 p.m. Moon (to-day).
