SURPRISE PARTY AT “GLENTOTO”

"Glentoto,” Makino Road, Feilding, the charming home of Mrs. George Turnbull, was on New Year’s night, the scene of a very delightful surprise party, when the young friends of the hostess and her sou, Jim, gathered there to spend a most enjoyable evening. "Glentoto.” with its many large and lofty rooms, wide hall and long verandah, lends itself admirably to entertaining, and a dance in its spacious and picturesque drawing-room is always much enjoyed. A delectable supper was dispensed in the diningroom, the tables being gay with gold and crimson roses. Mrs. Turnbull rvore a delightful picture frock fashioned with tight bodice and full drooping skirt, the waistline being finished in front with a largo bow centred with a diamante buckle.
