Gandhi on being interviewed by the journal Englishman, at the end of tho Indian Congress, said: “India’s aim is freedom built up in India, not something imposed from without. Britain’s biggest mistake is not considering the Indian situation as suffic iently important, regarding it in short as something to be tackled some day, when nothing else is on hand.”
