WOODVILLE RESIDENT KILLED IN ACCIDENT

CAR FALLS 200 FEET. TWO OTHER OCCUPANTS REMOVED TO HOSPITAL Per Press Association. MASTERTON, Last Night. A fatal motor car accident occurred on Rimutaka hill lato this afternoon, when a single woman, Esther Mary Walker, aged 60„ a dressmaker, of Woodville, was killed. The accident' occurred about two miles from the Summit of the hill on the Wairarapa side, the car going over the side of the road and falling about 200 feet.

The driver of the car was deceased’s brother, Mr Thomas Henry Walker, of Hawora, bacon factory proprietor, who escaped practically unhurt, but twp other ladies, Mr Walker’s wife and daughter in-law aTO suffering from shock and are at present ~in a private hospital at Featherston.
