Nominations, Weights and Acceptances. Nominations for all events close with the Secretary, Ashhurst, on SATURDAY, JANUARY sth, at 9 p.m. Weights will be declared on or about THURSDAY, JANUARY 10th. Acceptances close on MONDAY, 14th JANUARY, at 9 p.m. NOTE.—Telegraph Office closes at 8 p.m. Penalties. The winner of any race, after declaration of weights may •be re-handi-capped. A. W. TRASS, Secretary. Rules and Regulations. 1. All Athletic events run under the Rules of the N.Z. Amateur Athletic Association. 2. All prizes for athletic and novelty events; trophies. 3. In all horse events, the committee to decido the course; two baulks to disqualify. 4. All entries must be in half hour with the secretaries before each event. 5. All events post entry. Handicaps for | events 9 and 14 will be declared on the grounds. 6. The decisions of the judges shall be final in every competition. 7. All protests to be in the hands of the secretaries not later than one hour after the event in dispute.
