T. E. Y. SEDDON MAY BE HIGH COMMISSIONER

The late member for Westland, Mr. T. E. Y. Seddon, has been mentioned in certain southern newspapers as a possible successor to Sir James Part as High Commissioner for New Zealand in London. When question on the subject recently Mr. Seddon said: “I can give you nothing definite. In any case, Sir James Parr’s term of office will not' expire for some time yet.”

Sir James Parr succeeded Sir James Allen as High Commissioner on August 1, 1926. As the term is one of three years it thus has a further seven months to Tun.
