The Daily Mail’s Dublin Correspondent states that no-t since the AngloIrish treaty was signed seven years ago has the Free State’s future been more bright. Stable government has been established, crime has diminished remarkably and trade is on the up-grade. A year ago the country’s adverse balance was more than £16,000,000, but at the end of November it had. fallen to £.12,000,000 as the result, of reduced imports and increased exports. Irish eggs, butter and bacon now command top prices on the English market. Tourist- booking to Ireland has begun in many United States centres and six liners called at Galway during the season where there were none a few years ago.
