<s> A GOOD NURSERY DISH. <s> $> <S> <J> 1 pint milk, 1 oz. butter, 2oz. <S> <s> sugar, a little vanilla flavour<S> ing, a few drops cochineal, and <S> ■§> .1 gill cream, whipped. Boil the <S> <s> rice in the milk with the butter <S>' <s> sugar, and vanilla. Stir continu- <s> <s> ally for about fifteen minutes, or <t> <s> until the rice is cooked. Now <s> <s> add the cochineal. Wet a fancy <S> <*> mould (use one with a central <S> <S> cavity) and pour the rice into <s> it,: do not turn out until quite <£ <s>. set. Put the whipped cream into <S> <S> cavity and decorate with fruit <s> jellies or hundreds and <S> <♦> ands. # <*> : " ♦
