TYPHOON DESCENDS ON SEA OF JAPAN
HUNDREDS DROWNED, WARSHIPS DISPATCHED TO VESSELS’ ASSISTANCE. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph-Copyright. Received Wednesday, 7.5 p.m. TOKIO. Oct. 10. Many hundreds of fishermen were drowned and severe casualties were suffered among tho coastal shipping in a typhoon, of which no' warning was received. Several steamers have wirelessed they arc in distress and cruisers and destroyers have been despatched to their assistance.
