WAIKATO DAIRYMEN REJECT PROPOSALS
FERTILISER WORKS PURCHASE.

Suppliers of the New .Zealand Co-op. Dairy Coy., by a referendtim, rejected, a proposal to purchase the fertiliser works of the Challenge Company. The voting-was 387,460 against, and 30,473 for the proposal. The suppliers also rejected by 290j083 votes to 136,145, a proposal to reimburse the three guarantors of the Bacon Company who lost a total of £25,000 when the company failed.
