Owing to a deadlock between the parties, the Conciliation Council at Christchurch yesterday referred the dispute brought by the N.Z. Federated Moulders’ Association against the Federated Iron Masters to the Arbitration Court.
Following the recent action of the West End school committee in requesting that members of the Wanganui Education should inspect the school and gain first-hand knowledge of the damp conditions which are in evidence there, Mr. M. H. Oram, a Palmerston North member of the Board, went over the building on Tuesday accompanied by Mr. Hodge, the Board’s architect.
