OROUA ELECTORATE
MR. J. Gr. ELIOTT’S CAMPAIGN.
Mr. ,T. G. Eliott returned to Peilding yesterday and is taking an early opportunity of conferring with his committees in regard to the campaign. He will open at Eangiwahia on Monday next and after covering the immediate districts, will take a tour over the ‘new territory round about Taihapc, which has been brought into the Oroua electorate. A meeting of supporters of Mr. Eliott is to bo held at Waituna West Hall on Saturday night next. Mr. J. G. Cobbe’s Campaign. Mr. J. G. Cobbc, the United’s Party’s candidate for the Oroua electorate, will open his campaign at Halcombo on Monday evening next in the local hall. On the following Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ho will speak at Waituna West, Pol v gina and Colyton respectively. His engagements are notified in a special announcement in this issue.
