Mr. Trcmain was driving his wife, Mr. Cox and Miss Pearson from London in a car, and .it had just passed over a steep, narrow canal bridge, when it crashed broadside into the car which contained Mr. Hoskins, Mr. and Miss Nelson and Miss Pleasant. The cars wore knocked into the hedges and severely damaged. A passing motorist found the passengers lying in Iho road injured, and summoned assistance. Ambulances from Rugby and Davcntry were sent for, and the injured were taken to Rugby Hospital. Mr. Nelson sustained ft cut eyelid and forehead, but was not 'detained in hospital.
