MOTORING COLLISION
ME. O. F. NELSON INJURED. CAES : EXTENSIVELY DAMAGED. „ LONDON. Eight people, including Mr. ;Olaf Nelson, of Samoa, wove injured/ and taken to hospital as a result of a ; serious collision between two cars at Watford, near Rugby, on September 3. The injured, . besides Mr. Nelson, ■u-crc: —Mr. E. E. Tvcmain, chauffeur, cuts and abrasions to face; his wife, Mrs. Lily Trcmain, fractured forearm; Mr. Charles Cox, cuts and bruises; Miss Amy Pearson, typist, and b'ookj keeper, severe cuts to head and shock, I condition serious; Mr. William V. Hosikins, motor driver, head injuries; Mi.sk i Lucy Nelson, daughter of Mr. O. P. Nelson, cuts and bruises; ■ Mr. Rex . Pleasant, secretary to Mr. Nelson, cut nose and lip. Mr. Trcmain was driving his wife, Mr. Cox and Miss Pearson from London in a car, and .it had just passed over a steep, narrow canal bridge, when it crashed broadside into the car which contained Mr. Hoskins, Mr. and Miss Nelson and Miss Pleasant. The cars wore knocked into the hedges and severely damaged. A passing motorist found the passengers lying in Iho road injured, and summoned assistance. Ambulances from Rugby and Davcntry were sent for, and the injured were taken to Rugby Hospital. Mr. Nelson sustained ft cut eyelid and forehead, but was not 'detained in hospital.
