From Our Own Correspondent. On Friday evening the Presbyterian Sunday School held their annual concert. Mr. Murray occupied the chair. The following items were much appreciated by the large number of people present:— Hymn, “ Joybclls,” all pupils; recitation, “.When Burglars Como to Our House,” Grenville Doughty; song, small boys; recitation, “Going Out to Tea,” Joyce Watson; song, “Little Maori Baby,” Ngairo Blundell; chorus song, “Lullaby,’,’ junior .fljr.ii;.' recitation, “The Lost Glasses,” Frank Buckman; song and chorus, “Hymns of the Old Church Choir,” senior girls; recitation, “Washing,” Bay McKay; song, “Como Little Leaves,” Kuby Watson;' recitation, “Someday,” Gilbert Wildbore; piano solo, Mari McKay; dialogue, “Like a Nettle,” senior'girls; duet, “I Don’t Want to Play in Your Yard,” Madge McKay and Euby Watson; recitations, “Teddy Bear” and “Chestnuts,” Ngaire Blundell; song, “Lonely Eoad,” Edna Harland; recitation, “Party Frocks,” Madgo McKay; chorus, “Pelorus Jack,” small girls and boys; recitation, “Vespers,” Molly Harland and, Ircllo Doughty; chorus, “Farewell,” senior girls; .recitation, “Mrs. Eowloy’s Boys,” Allen Vilcs; song, “Come Little Eobin,” Madge McKay; recitation, “Kate Shelleys,” Milletta Doughty; song, “I Had a Little Nut Tree,” Joyce Osborne; dialogue, “Aunt Mary’s Will,” senior pupils; song, “Lullaby Land,” Mari McKay; hymn, “There is a Happy Land,” pupils. After the programme had been gone through the chairman called on Mrs. Murray to present the prizes to the children. Mr. Murray then spoke thanking all for their attendance and congratulating the children on their splendid programme. He also thanked the organ! sors, Miss M. Paterson and Mrs. W. Duncan, for the keen interest they had taken. Mr. Murray expressed symj pathy with Elsie, Eidgo and Archie Cowan who . were both unable to tabs : their parts owing to illness. The serving of supper then brought the. very happy evening to a close.
