LADIES’ HOCKEY
In connection with the euchre and dance to be held in the Empire Hall on August 7th., a sub-committce meeting was held last evening at-the “Times” office to' make final arrangement. Larkin’s orchestra will be *n attendance. The chairman. (Mr. Vasey) received apologies from Messrs Temple, and Wilkinson, and Miss Pye. Arrangements are now well in hand and donations of milk,, cakes, soft drinks and several euchre prizes have been received. The officials are: M.C ’s, Messrs P. Cousins and V. Tucker; euchre M.C.s Messrs Hunt, Gerrand, Amos, Temple, Holgerson and Eosanoskij ■ box office, Messrs Turnbull and Duckworth; doorkeepers, Messrs Weston Smith and Broughton; soft drinks steward, Mr. Scott. The chaperones will bo Mesdames Aitehison, L. H. Collinson and J. Wallace.
