At the Air Ministry’s request Sir Alan Cobham is preparing an estimate of the cost'of running an air service to Konya, also a later. extenkic- to Bulurt'ayo where it will link .up with the service from, the Capo and the East African dependencies with the concurrence of the Colonial Office. The Ministry is prepared to support the project if the British Government offers a subsidy in. the early stages of operation. _ • The present project proposes a weekly service by three-engined flying boats for passengers, mails and goods.
