SUSPENSION INCREASED TILL END OF SEASON
SOCCER PLAYER’S ASSAULT. REFEREE STRUCK AFTER GAME. Per Press Association, WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Otago Association 1 was reported at to-night’s meeting of the Now Zealand Soccer Council to have suspended P, Hall of the Mosgiel Club for three Saturdays for threatening the referee during the process of a game and striking him after the game. t The reports of the ease were read over and it was decided to telegraph Otago that the Council took a serious view of this offence and had decided to increase the suspension till the end of the season.
