ANOTHER REBELLION IN PORTUGAL FAILS

Another attempt at a-revolution in Portugal has come -and -gone,, says a Lisbon, message.Captain Gonsalve’s garrison at Saint George Portress declared in rebellion. Government forces attacked and an artillery duel followed lasting all night. The rebels succeeded in capturing the neighbouring Guards’ barracks but were forced' back and surrendered at 8.30 in the morning. .
