‘CONDUCT UNBECOMING A MINISTER OF CHURCH'
KEY. QBE iriroEß SUSPENSION. . United Service. . VANCOUVER, July 20. A* commission of the Presbyterian Church decidedly adversely on the case of the Rev.. William Robertson On (the Rev. E. S. Or), who came to Canada three years ago from Wellington, New Zealand. 1 The commission finds that he is guilty of conduct so unbecoming a, minister as to necessitate a dissolution of his pastoral tie with his fashionable central church at Vancouver, and that he remains in suspension from holy duties until completion of the divorce action 1 now pending. Mr. Orr is named as co-respondent by Gordon Fleck, a middle-aged capitalist, who is suing his wife particularly because, he alleges, she took a trip with Mr. Orr in the latter’s room on board a steamer from Vancouver to Victoria. The case has ; church circles by the ears throughout every city in Canada, and the committee’s action to-day was the result of a discussion by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Canada,,
