GRAND CHARITY CONCERT. A packed house should.greet the rise of tho curtain to-morrow night when tho grand charity concert, organised by tho Palmerston North Business Girlf ’ Club, will be staged. Tho entire proceeds are to be devoted to the relief of distress through unemployment, and a splendid and varied programme by tho best available talent has been arranged. A glance at tho programme advertised will reveal its outstanding merit. prices of admission are 2/- and l/> Tho box plan opens at tho Opera Houso at 9 a.m. this morning. Home-made sweets will be one sale. Such an appeal for tho relief of distress'among tho wives and children of the unemployed, and such noted performers should bo enough to ensure the Opera Houso being filled to overflowing to-morrow evening.
