SMALLER ENTRY. There was only a small entry of fat sheep at the Feilding stock sale yesterday, the offering comprising only fair to medium lots which sold at rates commensurate with- quality. in lamb were well represented in a moderate offering of store sheep arid these sold at late rate’s. Fat sheep were inclined to bo easier than previous sales this being due no doubt to some freezing works being off the market. Store sheep showed improvement, ewes in lamb being noticeably in demand. Good dairy cows and store cattle sold particularly well. Quotations as follows:—Fat lambs 28s to 29s 3d; fat ewes 22s 9d, 275,4c1, 28s to 33; 2-th ewes r.w.
