'From Our Own Correspondent. Miss Marjorie Willing spent the week-end with Mrs. Ed. Williams; Mrs. Pentecoste of Levin,, is the ; guest of her son ; Mr. H. Pentecoste. The local hockey, club are 'unable to field a team against Eongqtea- on Saturday, owing to several of their members having contracted influenza. t A football match has been arranged for Saturday, between the local third grade and married men of the district. Mr. Thomas of Christchurch is .the guest of Mr Galloway, - ■■ , " Mrs. Hoffman, DuneuLs, is spending a few days with Mrs. McGbllough. -
