RUGBY FOOTBALL
. TO-DAY’S ATTRACTIONS. .Rugby fans are assured of a good game this afternoon, ■when Old Boys and Fcilding meet at the Showgrounds. Opportunities of seeing the yellow and blacks in Palmerston North so far this season have been few and far between. The two teams finished close behind Kia Toa in tho Hankins Shield competition. Fcilding being beaten by Old Boys for the position of runners up. The blacks have been weakened by injuries, etc., since their last meeting with Fcilding when they took the honours 13—3, but nevertheless they may be relied upon to keep the formid able visiting combination busily employed. Followers, of the fortunes of the junior teams will also bo well catered for, as three games in this grade will be played on the Showgrounds during the afternoon. St. Pats and High Schdol will provide the curtain-raiser, and as both arc teams which play attractive football there should bo quite a fair crowd during the early part of the afternoon.
