The Makowhai Dairy ■ Company ar« paying out Is 6d for cheese for June and in additiofilhey are paying one penny/ further advance" over the whole season making Is 7d per lb of butter fat to date. The last sale reported was MahJ 108 s per cwt. The company still have '235 crates on the water so prospects for a good payout for the season look exceptionally well. Prospects for the coming season also look exceedingly bright lor cheese. ;■ * ■ , Mr. McKinnon, the manager, is away on. his annual leave.
