~ / “THAT’S MY DADDy,” . ; Jimmy Norton, a young • man *'6f wealth, is trapped into an engagement with the daughter of a once wealthy family, who wants money. Jimmy dashes across town to his car, and is stopped by a motor cycle officer. Ho lies to the officer, telling him that ho is hurrying to the children's hospital, where his daughter is seriously injured. The officer goes along. Hero a child, Pudge has been brought that morning, she having run away from her fostermother. She thinks - Jimmy is her father who she never saw, Jimmy to carry out his bluff takes the little girl homo and fathers her. Meantime Jimmy has fallen in love with the nurse who had charge of Pudge, and who is in the Norton Home, as nurse-1 maid . When the wedding of Sylvia and Van Tassel is about to take placo Pudge runs’ in and calls Jimmy * ‘Daddy." The Van Hassels call off the marriage, Jimmy weds the nurse, and with permission of Pudge's foster mother adopts the little girl. The Collegians' ninth, series will also be shown. To-morrow “That’s 'My Daddy” and “The Collegians” will be ihown at the-matinee at 2.30 p.nu
