SOVIET REINFORCING RUSSO-FINN FRONTIER NEWSPAPER STATES
Times Cables. Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, June 29. The Times’ Helsingfors correspondent states that the representative of the newspaper Sanomats, who visited the frontier, asserts that the Soviet is fortifying her position «n the RussoPii frontier. , Travellers passing the frontier are blindfolded and rigorously searched. Soviet warships are increasingly active and infantry and artillery arc continually manoeuvring. The Leningrad garrison has been strongly reinforced. t Local Finns fear that the Russian plans are not limited to manoeuvres. The Finnish troops on the frontier have been reinforced.
