WOMAN GRAVELY ILL AS RESULT OF BURNING
Per Press Association. INVEECAEGILL, Last'Night. At 2.30 this morning a man named ICcath, residing at Winton, was awakened by screams, and on investigating met his wife, aged 50, coming out of the kitchen with her clothing in flames. She was hurried to the Southland Hospital, where she is at present lying critically ill as the result of burns. So far there arc no particulars as to bow her clothing came to be on fire.
