GLOVES AT DANCES
“Some of our young men. have little consideration for their dancing partners these days,” said a member of a country hall committee to a Wanganui ' ‘ Chronicle ’’ man the other day. “At the last dance held in our hall sfeverat girls had their dresses practically ruined through the men not wearing gloves. The Hall Committee have given out that gloves must be worn while dancing and it is discourteous ,to say the least, to find such a reasonable request disregarded. They don’t seem to realise that a girl’s light dress can be easily spoiled by hot hands,” ho concluded.
