Levin and Co., Ltd., report for week ending May 10th. 1928: At Bulls on Monday a small yarding came forward and sold at prices slightly below recent quotations. Small B.F. lambs, 22s Gd; medium W.F. lambs, 13s Sd, 15s, to 19s 4d; cull lambs, 10s 6d; weancr Jersey and Jersey-cross heifers, £2, to £2 7s; fat cows, £5 16s, £6 7s Cd, to £7 12s Cd.; light fat steers, £6 14s; fat and forward cows £3 11s to £4 12s Gd; store cows £1; weancr pigs, 11s. At.Fcilding on Friday we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. There was a largo attendance of buyers and bidding was animated on all classes throughout the sale, prices realised being firm, at late rates. Fat ewes 27s 4d. to 30s lOd; fat wethers, 37s 9d; fat B.F. 2-tooths. 3Gs Gd; light, fat, B.F. lambs 235; light fat W.F. lambs, 25s 6d to 31s Gd; woolly fat lambs, 34s Cd; f. and f. ewes, 20s Gd to 23s 9d; medium Korn, ewe lambs, 29s 2d; small m.s. lambs, 15s Gd; aged ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, 2Ss, 29s Cd to 30s; low condition ewes, r.w. S. D. rams, 22s to 23s Od; 2-tooth wethers, 32s 3d. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd. report on Fcilding Sale held on Friday, 18th. May: There was another heavy yarding of fat lambs and fat sheep and a small one of store sheep and cattle. Bidding was keen throughout, especially for fat lambs, and a total clearance was effected. Cattle sold at lato rates. Wo quote:—

Sheep: Fat lambs, 23s Id, 265, 29s 3d, 32s 3d, £2 to £2 2s; fat ewes, 25s Id, 29s 3d, to 30s; fat wethers, 33s 9d, 35s Cd to 3Gs; 2-th. ewes, in lamb, to S.D., 37s 8d; aged ewes in lamb to S.D., 25s Gd;.store ewes, 15s Gd to 17s; mixed sex lambs, 2Gs Gd; forward lambs, 22s 7d to 22s Bd. Cattle. Fat cows, £0 ss, to £S 14s; forward cows, £4, £4 15s to £6 ss; store cows, £2 12s to £3; weancr heifers, £2 15s to £5; springing heifers, £9 10s to £13.; heifers in milk, £7; springing cow's, £4 5s to £G 2s Cd. Messrs. Abraham and Williams Ltd., report having held a very successful sale of dairy stock on account of Mr W. S. Carter, Shannon,. on the 17th. inst. The cows were in good condition and sold readily under keen competition. The herd of C 3 cows, including three quarter cow's, averaged £ll.
