Halcombe thirds v. Marlon Athletics,
The match between the above teams vas played on Saturday afternoon on >l,o Ualcombc Recreation Ground. Mr. W. S. Cage having control ot the whis lie. During Ihe first spoil AJurloii was leading by 3 to nil. During the second spell Ualcombc settled down lo hard work crossing their opponents’ line, making the game 3 all. From then on, the game proved very strenuous and exciting, each side endeavouring to score another try, and for an infringement of rules llalcombo was awarded a free kick, R. Hughes taking tho kick aud landed a beautiful goal. Time sounded with tho scores: Ualcombc 6 Marlon 3.
