“MOTHER MACHREE”
“Mother Maclireo” will be the attraction at the eheatro dc Luxe, commencing AVednesday next, with 1-e 11 c Bennett, -Noil Hamilton, Ted M’Namara and Victor M’Laglan in the leading roles, Miss Bennett herself making screen history anew with her Mother Maehree. This is a simple and moving drama of mother love, Irish people, and a little of the laughter aud pathos that one associates with all Irish tales. It is a simple story, but so exquisitely told and so beautifully acted that it immediately rises to the heights of (ho great pictures which the screen has ever produced. It is completely without that maudlin sentimentality which the legitimate stage often mistakes for Irish emotion, and its characters a* dolighfully Irish, tears and smiles. Miss Bennett makes a wonderful mother, and Kell Hamilton is splendid as her son.
