Heavy entries were the rule to day in all sections of fat stock at Addington. The store sheep entries were fewer, the season for breeding ewes now being far advanced, whilst only forward lambs have a chance of being turned off feed for freezing. Store sheep —A small entry, good owe lines being very scarce. There was an easier tendency over the eailicr stages for this class and also backward lambs, but good ewes and wethers sold firmly. Ordinary halfbred owe lambs made 23s Cd to 27s Cd, ordinary thrcc-quartcr-Lrod owe lambs 2-ls to 265, in ferior three quarter-bred ewe lambs 20s to 22s Gd, rape lambs 23s to 2Cs 9d, backward lambs 20s to 235, cull lambs 16s to ISs Cd, extra good two-tooth halfbred ewes, to 40s; ordinary two, four, six and eight-tooth hall bred ewes 26s to 27s Dd; inferior, tiro, four, six and eight-tooth halfbred ewes 24a to 25s 9d: extra good four, six ana eight-tooth crossbred owes, to 34s lid; good four, six and eight-tooth crossbred owes. 29s Cd to 325; ordinary four, six and eight-tooth crossbred owes 25s Gd to 30s; aged ewes, 17s to 225; good four, six and eight-tooth halfbred wethers, 29s to 31s 3d; ordinary four, six and eight-tooth halfbred wethers, 20s to 28s Cd; backward four, fix and eight-tooth halfbred wethers, 21s to 255; inferior wethers, to 21s.

Fat lambs.—A good entry of 33C0 head, and a- keen sale at the improved schedule, nearly a shilling a pound lieing recorded for spec ally good sorts. Extra prime sorts made 3Ss to 4.1 s 7d; prime, 33s to 365; medium, 30s to 32? fid; light, 26s Gd to 29s Gd; store iambs 23s to 255.

Fat sheep. —A heavy entry. Last week’s rates were well maintained, the export trade competing briskly. Extra prime wethers made to 42s lOd; prime wethers, 33s to 38s; medium wethers. 31s 5d to 34s (id; light wethers, 2Gs to 30s; extra prime ewes, to 3Cs 10d, prime ewes, 2Ss to 32s Gd; ordinary ewes, 24s to 275; light ewes, 20s to 23s 6d; poor conditioned, aged ewes, 16s to 19s.

Fat cattle. —An entry of 540 head, which, following on three or four yardings of over this number, more than supplied butchers’ requirements. However, it was a good sound sale for quality beef, though an over-supply of cow beef was inclined to sell easier. Choicest beef made to 38s G’d per 1001 b; good prime, 35s 6d to 37s Cd, medium, 32s Gd : to-33s; 'heavyweight, 33s to 355; good cow, 31s 6d to 33s Gd; ordinary, 2Js to 30s; and rough down to 22s Gd per 1001 b. Extra prime heavy steers made to £l9 7s Gd; prime heavy steers £ls to £l7 ss; prime medium weight steers, £.13 to £l4 15s; ordinary quality steers, £lO 10s to £l2 10s; light steers £8 to £10; extra prime ho'.fcrs, to £l3 7s Cd; prime heifers, l£7 10s to £9 12s Cd; light heifers, £4 10s to £7; extra prime cows, to £l3 17s Id; prime cows £9 to £11; ordinary cows, £7 to £S 15s; light and aged cows, £4 15s to £G 17s Gd. Vcalers.—A good sale. Twelve to IS-months sort o made to £8 Ids; vcalers £3 10s to £6 18s.

Store cattle.—A good demand for the attractive pens. Two to 21-yr. steers made £7 15s to £8 10s; 18-months to 2-yrs, £0 ss; medium to good cows, £3 to £5 11s. Dairy cattle.—A keen sale for cows at drop or recently in profit. Extra good second to fourth ealvers made £l2 to £10; others, £7 to £ll 10s; best heifers, £8 to £11; others. £3 10s to £7 10s.

Pat pigs.—No change in values of baconors, but a firming tendency for porkers. Choppers made 50s to £5 15s; baconors, £3 to £3 5s (average per lb. 51d to Old); porkers, 32s to 5-ts Cd I (average per lb. (id to 7-Jd). Store pigs.—An average entry and an improved sale. We,mors made 4s to 10s; stores, 9s (id to 17s; largo, 17s Cd to 20s; extra large, to 325.
