MANAWATU HOCKEY ASSN.
WEEKLY MEETING. The weekly meeting of the Manawatu Hockey Association was held last evening, Mr. J, V. Kyle presiding. Also present were Messrs. C. Burgess, N. Hansen, M. Levy, W. Lundy, H. Milne, and the secretary, Mr. L. Berry. An apology for absence was received from Mr. G. Button. The secretary was instructed to write thanking Messrs. A. J. Grahma and M. A. Eliott for donations. Bulletin No. 10 was received from the New Zealand Hockey Association. Mr. N. Hansen and the secretary were empowered to arrange for a marker and whiting for the grounds. Mr. Burgess undertook to prepare 100 match record cards. It was decided that all games in which Central Old Boys Club’s teams participate should commence at 3 p.m. sharp. Mr. J. V. Kyle was appointed sole selector. It was decided to proceed with the business of having Manawatu re-classi-fied as a minor association. Accounts amounting to £l/l-l/(! wore passed for payment.
