There arc sixty-nine entries in the men’s singles hardcourt championships opening on Monday. Germany and Italy are not represented. The draw of the seeded top half includes Patterson, Brookes, F. T. Hunter, Borotra, Boussus, Cochet, Boyd (Argentine), Timmer (Holland). The bottom half includes Hawkes, Crawford, Lacostc, Brugnon, Gregory, Slcom (India), and Robson (Argentina.) There are sixty-four entries for the doubles. The top half includes Borotra and Brugnon, Hunter and Brookes Hopman and Crawford. The bottom half includes Lacoste and Bonesus, Coehet and do Buzclot, Patterson and Hawkes. The mixed doubles include Hunter and Miss Willis, Coehet and Eileen Bennett. The women’s doubles include Misses Willis and Anderson.
