Feilding Leads PsibSic Service COLYTON STRUGGLES AGAINST OLD BOYS The game of cricket produces many surprises and even the most slothful game is rarely devoid of some incident compensating to spectators. The game in FeUding has its ups and downs and Saturday on Kowhai Park was another up day, full of bright incidents. Playing against Public Service on No. 2 wicket the Pcilding cloven, ever a doubtful quantity, surprised both opponents and spectators by establishing a lead on the first innings of 33 runs. Wild made the most of his play, providing 30 in quick time. L. Sandford took four wickets for 47 and Laing two for 22. Poilding did not utilize their bowlers to the best advantage. The match will be concluded on Saturday next. On the premier wicket Colyton found Old Boys full of action and right out to redeem their previous losses.
