"VrOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Kairanga County Council to borrow the sum of One Thousand nine hundred pounds (£1900) under the provision of the ‘(Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” for a period of twenty (20) years at a rate of interest not to esceel six pounds (£6) per centum per annum and to provide for the re-payment thereof by establishing a Sinking Fund of not less than Two pounds (£2) per centum per annum for the purpose of: — Renewing three bridges in the Mangaono Riding namely, Derby Creek Bridge situated on the Kaianga Bunnythorpc Road, Bullocky Creek Bridge situated on Napier Road and Mangaono Bridge situated Robert’s Line And for the payment of interest on such sum and the repayment of principal ,the Kairanga County Council proposes to make a special rate of Nineteen four hundred and fiftieths (19/450ths) of a penny in the £ over all rateable property in the whole of the Mangaone Biding. Such rate to bo an annually recurring rate for twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off. The cost of raising the'said loan and the interest and Sinking -Fund for the first year is not to be paid out of the loan. AND a Poll will be taken on Thursday, the 22ruT day of March,. 1928, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m, for the purpose of obtaining the ratepayers’ consent to such loan. Polling Booths will ' be open at the undermentioned places:!— (1) The Office of the Kairanga County Council, Bangitikei Street, Palmerston North. , (3) Awahuri Co-operative Dairy Co.'s Office, Kauwhata.
