The elections having resulted practically ifl a tie between the two main parties, a Ministerial crisis is almost a certainty.In the meantime both parties are trying to gain the support of the Independents and Labourites. Tho elections passed quietly, though they evoked great populuar interest. The final station of the parties after the Japenesc eloetions’''is as follows: — Minseito 218, Sciyukai 217, Labour eight,' Knkushin four, Jitsuda four, Independents 15. Tho elections were remarkable for the unexpected proletariat voting, which totalled nine million. The Government is disappointed with tho results and is replying on winning the support of the minor parties before reopening tho diet.
