GENERAL ELECTION PROCEEDING IN JAPAN

To-day the first general election under the extended suffrage laws is ab-so-bing public interest. Polling commenced early in the morn.ng, proceeding in orderly fashion although, orcitemer t is increasing. It is generally expected the Snyukai Party will exceed the Minscito, but will be unable to secure an absolute majority of Parties.
