COMING-OF-AGE
Mr and Mrs. O. Attlck, gave a most delightful party, at their residence, Awapuni, on Thursday, evening, the occasion being the coming- o£-age of their only daughter Isabel. The rooms and super-table were decorated in blue and gold, striking a pretty note. The guest of honour received her friends gowned in a pretty frock of pale lemon taffetas and georgette, and was the recipient of many beautiful and costly presents.'' A large marquee was erected on the lawn, where about sixty guests partook of a dainty supper. Racing, games and musical items were Indulged in whilst non-dancers played cards. A brilliant evening was brought to a close by the singing of “For-they are Jolly Good Fellows.”
